Original pair 1951 California license plates UNUSED NOT RESTORED MINT! He put them in a file cabinet in his shop in 1951 & has never used them, never touched them. They are 100% mint original! I found them in the cabinet last week. The manila envelope was in tatters, but they still have the original paper between them. The top one had a lot of dust on it & I wiped it off with a soft cloth & hot soapy water. The 2 plates are original & look brand shiny new. Call them 99&1/2% if you'd like. In the bottom left corner of each plate is a minute' blister of paint. Because they both have it, in the same place, it must be where they were fastened when they were painted. From what I can find on the Internet these can be used on a 1951 thru 1955 automobile.

They would look beautiful on a vintage Chevy. I called California DMV & the plates are clear, but it would be easy for you to check them also. My photos aren't very good, but the plates speak for themselves.
