1961 1956 California License Plate State Assembly Political Legislature RARE
This rare plate has original paint, but it has been clear coated with shellac, likely decades ago. This was a common (though misguided) practice of old time license plate collectors. Despite that, it displays beautifully. There is no color touch up or restoration on it. See the close-up photo, as that tells the whole story as to condition.
