Rare original 1956 California Motorcycle black and yellow license plate with super cool Sparto plate holder and light made in England came off an old desert sled many many years ago from the collection of one of Flanders invotaors and workers in the 50's and 60's - the plate iteslf can be used with 1956, 1957, 1958 1959 1960 1961 1962 california motorcycle along with a correct year tag - as seen as it sits this plate cane used on 1956 and 1959 (other year tags not included). The plate itself is in very good clean straight original condition with a really nice patina original paint and no extra holes. An excellent plate for the original patina old motorcycle or a restored machine or maybe just for the collector. This plate is not DMV clear so is just for display or great for a museum type motorcycle Great early number 23 025 overall in very good original condition. Can be use on any period motorcycle - Triumph, BSA, Norton, Harley Davidson, Honda, BMW, etc. The holder is made in the UK by Sparto back in the late 1950's and early 1960's era and can be seen on many a period California desert sled this one has very very strong brackets welded on the back. This set up has been sitting in a shed since the early 1970s until I pulled it out a while back. YOM clear as far as I know.
