1940 California license plate set DMV, YOM program clear to register your 1940 vehicle. This set has a couple flaws.. The restoration process was stripping paint, applied rust remover, straightened all dents, dings, creases and holes if applicable.

See photos for those details. The flaws took place on the last process where one of the plates (top plate in pictures) had bled when applying the clear coat but only on the 19 CALIFORNIA 40 which is funny as I did everything the same for both plates at the same time? It's more noticeable when the plates are side by side but really not that bad when separated.

The other flaw is on the other plate (bottom plate in pic) the number "1" middle digit at the top which you can see in photos but I think it will buff out after the cure process. Great set for a daily driver vehicle still presentable very straight plates that have been priced for sale as is, if they do not sell I will repaint and price accordingly.
