1940 California license plate set DMV/YOM clear to register. The restoration process was removing original paint fixing all dings, dents, creases, holes if applicable then sanded and primed, 3 coats of base then hand painted all digits and lettering applied 3 coats clear to finish the plates off. They are not show perfect but very presentable, one small light run in the clear that would not show up in photos hard to tell unless you have the light just right and move the plate around to see it.
