1916 Porcelain Blue & White California License with Bell Tag. Tag number matches plate number 270760. 100+ year old license plate. California first issued a state license plate in 1914 it was red with white letters. Two years later they issued this plate in 1916. From every year on persons. In this case you have a original 1916 porcelain plate with a 1918 year bell tag. The plate measures approximately 13 inches long x 4.5 inches wide.
