1945 California Fiberboard Booster License Plate, Quite Rare
Here is a really nice 1945 California Fiberboard "Booster" License Plate. AND Yes, in fact, these are quite rare and especially in this condition. California, in 1945, decided that in order to help conserve metal for the WWII war effort, they would just issue one license plate that state issued plate was to be mounted on the rear of the vehicle.
UP until 1945, California had ALWAYS issued two license plates beginning with the first state issue in 1914. SO, for the first time, Californians had an "empty" front bumper. These do not become available very often so get it while you can. The item "1945 California Fiberboard Booster License Plate, Quite Rare" is in sale since Monday, November 5, 2018.
